Pink!

Well, it has been quite some time since my last post. I think I will pick up where I am now! We have had our first broken bone experience this past weekend. Kylie broke her arm falling off of a stump of sorts at the playground. Poor thing just lost her balance, and fell head first catching herself with her left hand/arm. She has a buckle fracture, which should heal easily. She got her PINK cast today. I mentioned to the man making her cast that light pink would be neat! :) Kylie is doing good! I think she is feeling better now that she doesn't have the huge splint on her arm that the ER put on. Brother has been helping sister around the house. He even showed Kylie how HE could put is under wear on with one hand today, too.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

The First Day of School!

Well, August 25th was a britter sweet day! It was Kylie's first day of Kindergarten. I have to say that was a hard day! Seeing her sit in her chair and look back at me and smile as to say, "Oh, man.... bye" She had a wonderful day! Kylie loves her teacher Mrs. Baker. Kylie told me that she has the prettiest shoes, and she wears beautiful dresses. Luke has enjoyed the time with just mom. We have logged some hours of building with Legos! And he still asks me, "Can we go get Kylie!" It is so sweet to see your kids grow!

For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life. Proverbs 6:23

Take time!

I sit here writing my first blog ever. So, hang in their. I just found out that on of my old neighbor is carrying her 3rd child, they found out that the baby boy has Trisomy 18. This is a genetic disorder, which there are 3 pieces of chromosome 18, and there should only be 2 of them. The average life span is less than a year. She is going to have a C-section in a couple of weeks. She made blog that just shows how her strength is from the Lord. After hearing that and seeing one of my friend blogs as well tonight, and how she played in the rain with her oldest the other day. It made me cry thinking about taking time. We need to take time with our family. Play in the rain. Kylie asked me the other day if she could go play in the rain, and I said no. Next time it rains, we are going to go out there and have fun! Kylie and Luke are true blessing from the Lord. They make me laugh, with their funny comments. I want to truly focus on what God has given me and I am thankful for my blessings. I seem to get teary eyed every time I read my friend's blog, she is truly an amazing friend and I am learning a lot from her.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The Second is this:"Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these" Mark 12:30-31
